This sounds like a true Japanese worship song.... I can just see them singing this at the Throne.

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.

Thought Of Da Day

"It takes years for God to fashion a heart and produce a testimony that gives life."

Be patient with yourself, with God and live in the present. Bless you all my friends going through uncertain times now... all I can say is, dying to yourself is the only way. (I am preaching this to myself too!)

Prayer Blog

I've set up a blog to get us interceding: Save The World Through Prayer.

It's easy - read, hear God and pray. Short as it may be, it counts. Click on and pray at your work desk. In-between breaks. The internet cafe.

Spread the word for us!

Old School

Some of us took a walkaround at lunch last week, and stumbled upon this retro traditional candy shop near Aljunied MRT. The greedy one among us couldn't resist buying old school sweets that bring nostalgic tears to her eyes.

While we were at it, we took a little tour of the back kitchen, and found 2 uncles industriously moulding tao-sar piah by hand, what a rare sighting! They looked so cute and hardworking! 20 years later, you'd have to pay admission to see something like this, if any of these shops survive at all.

Art Therapy

We had a very productive 'art therapy' session last week at the base, coz we had to make bookmarks for the half of the 1500 girls we're meeting this coming week in a school. Was faster than we thought though! Thanks to Irene swishing her brushes around like a loony artist....

Swish, swish, swish, go the girls!

Making use of our lovely lawn...

Ta-Dah! Tear tear tear and it's bookmarks galore!

The final product, God bring it into the right girls' hands please!

Thanks for the handy help, everyone! Good examples, heh....
